I made an essential oil blend (in alcohol carrier) just a few months ago, but now it seems to have almost entirely lost it's scent. The herbal top notes, and even the middle notes are nowhere to be found, only the base notes remain, even right after application. And even so, the base notes are weaker than before.
How do I prevent this from happening? I stored it in a dark-colored bottle, away from sunlight, never left the bottle open, etc. Will it help to add rosemary antioxidant in the future?
