Thyroid cancer survivor, needs medicine, no insurance or way to get perscripton

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to post this. My mom is 48 and we live in California. About 16 years ago my mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, she went through radiation and it came back so she had to have her thyroid removed. She needs to take a medication called Levathriod/Levathroxin but we do not have health insurance so we don't have any way for her to get her medication. I'm willing to pay whatever price for this medication, I just have no idea how to get it. My mom said she feels like she's getting sick and we believe it's because she has not had access to her medicine.
