What happens if I decide not to get a surgical procedure, but my insurance already paid for the prescriptions?

Will I still get billed for them? Or since they're already paid for, will I just have these presciptions laying around? Im not sure where else to post this question. If this is the wrong sub, can anyone direct to the right place?
