Insurance Advice [Question - Insurance]

I will preface this with I understand the circumstances we are in and know that if it is what it is then I just have to accept it but I wanted to get some extra opinions. This year, I've eaten through all my deductible and all of my out-of-pocket max with insurance and thought it would be great to get a hernia surgery I've been needing for a while.

Come three weeks ago, I get told I need another check by my primary care physician and that it won't be free till this two days ago. I inform them I already have a letter from my last primary care physician and that I need to get things moving but they insist and set me up. Get that done and now I get told the next consultation (not surgery) with the surgeon is December 14th. Issue of course is that this is not enough time to get the surgery done within the year and these values will be reset, leaving me with a much higher bill and a full deductible. Granted, I doubt there's a way to speed it up, could I potentially bill the surgery for this year's amounts since it's when it was started even though it may be done at the start of next year? Or are there any way I can get the surgery billed what I would be billed now, later.

Very worried about the costs here and with the estimate they gave me, I'd have to wait another year on this surgery after having already waited two, it's getting way too risky. Any tips are appreciated.
