Hi guys, I am looking at leaving my job soon and will probably need to buy insurance on the exchange. I live in Seattle and had Amerigroup and Coordinated Care recommended to me by my medical provider's insurance person. Does anyone have thoughts on either plan? And is there anywhere online where I can get helpful info/reviews on either one? Thanks!
Before the ACA (ObamaCare) some people, particularly the young and healthy, decided not to have health insurance. One of the controversial parts of ObamaCare is the requirement to have health insurance - the "individual mandate".
What do you think of such a requirement? Should there be an "individual mandate" in any new health plan?
I work at a Community Mental Healthcare Center, we mostly do individual/group therapy for seniors with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, etc. I've attempted to find quotes online for Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions) from major companies like Progressive, but after filling out the required information I'm told we are not eligible. Does anyone know of an insurance company that covers this type of business? We are located in South Florida.
I am currently on my mom's insurance, through her employer. I turn 26 at the beginning of January. When, exactly, will I lose my coverage? Will it be on the date I turn 26? Will it last a month? Through all of 2018?
