Proper way to get HIPAA certified/stay up to date and in compliance as an IT/dev firm? [Question - Other]

I'm considering working with a couple healthcare professionals (dentists, etc) as an IT/development firm and I want to make sure I do things legally and stay in compliance.

I'm looking at HIPAA certifications, and I've found a couple sites, but they look dated, and I'm not sure about the quality of their information...

I’m also just trying to figure out how in general to stay up to date on HIPAA laws, and other healthcare legal/other stuff an IT/dev should know regarding healthcare.

here's some of the sites I found:

https://myhipaatraining.com/

https://www.hipaatraining.com/

Then there's the .gov website which seems the most reputable...

https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-professionals/training/index.html

I'm not even sure where to start, or if there's official certifications that are required.

Any advice would be appreciated. Until then I guess I’ll just go through the stuff on the hhs.gov site.
