Natural Citrus Creamed Sugar Scrub

Hi all, made this one yesterday and thought I would share.

Citrus Delight Creamed Sugar Scrub

Heated Phase: 9.5% E-Wax 9.5% Cetearyl Alcohol 19% Mango Butter (Can be substitued with Shea Butter) 18% Apricot Seed Oil 23% Watermelon Seed Oil 13% Virgin Coconut Oil 1% Seabuckthorn Oil 5% Moringa Oil

Cool Down Phase: 1% Optiphen Plus 1% Fragrance or Essential Oils (I used a blend of Grapefruit EO and Birds of Paradise Fragrance and did not use the full 1%). Up to 140% Caster Sugar or Normal Sugar (140g sugar per 100g base)

Directions: Prepare and sanitize your area. Measure the heated phase into a pyrex (or similarly heat proof bowl). Creating a water bath, melt your heated phase. To ensure sterilization, you can heat up to 75 degrees celsius and hold for two minutes. Once the heated phase is fully melted and combined, remove from the heat and allow to cool till a solidified layer has formed on the top. This can be sped up by placing your bowl in the fridge or freezer. Whip the partially solidified mixture and until fluffy, then begin whipping in the sugar till your desired scrubbiness is reached (I usually use the full 140%). To finish, add your desired fragrance and preservative. While this product does not contain water, I highly recommend adding a preservative as it is very easy for this product to come into contact with water.

HELP!!! COST for TAVR/TAVI surgery in Boston, MA with 3 day post-op stay and about 6 pages of lab workups???

Family is guessing the whole bill for my grandfathers TAVR surgery which was done at a Boston, MA hospital. He had approx a 4 day stay in addition to all the lab work they had to do post-op (approx 6 pgs worth of values). Any guesses?

Meniscus tear and healing? ??

Is it normal to have little to no pain for a medial meniscus tear? Should I just not get it checked out when I get home?

Backstory: About 6 weeks I was doing deep squats and hear a loud pop coming up. Left it alone and continued on my business. Two weeks ago I jump out of the way of someone and my knee was on fire. My doc gave me a "possible meniscus tear" diagnosis. I can't get an MRI till the end of May and I have no pain right now. If I lift with legs it feels like I'm being stabbed in between my knee but other than that I'm good.

I have never had a knee injury so I'm not sure what the extent of the injury does.
Just to clarify I'm not doing any lower body lifts. I picked up a bench and carried it the other day and it hurt like hell.

Routine help! Just started OCM and my nose and chin are more dry than ever before.

I have dry skin so I decided to try OCM with sweet almond oil and my skin feels more dry than ever before, specifically the nose, around the nose, and the chin. My current routine is *Morning - Rinse face with (warm) water in shower, moisturize with Rosehip Seed Oil. *Evening - Apply Sweet Almond Oil to face and massage for about 1-2 minutes, wipe off with warm washcloth. Moisturize with Rosehip Seed Oil. Exfoliate using colloidal oatmeal, yogurt, honey mask 2-3 times a week.

I started OCM about 5 days ago. The rest has been occurring for over a month.

I decided to go with straight sweet almond oil because my skin really does tend toward dry and I read castor oil was drying. This winter was rough on my skin because we moved to a new house that was incredibly dry as well.

I am wondering if the washcloth wiping is causing irritation that is contributing to the dryness. Maybe I should try a t-shirt or something. I am looking at adding Thayer's witch hazel with rose toner to my routine to add moisture.

What do you guys think?
